I have many friends. Among them, my best is Savindi Chathuradha. She is in her mid teens like I am. She lives at Attanagalla. She is the only child in her family. Savindi has short wavy hair. She is a slim girl. She is fair in complexion. Savindi is a helpful girl. She rarely gets absent to school. She is also a voracious reader. However, sometimes, she is a little oversensitive. I like her because she is loyal and truthful.

My class teacher is Mrs. Ekanayake. She is in her mid 40s. She is tall and fair. She wears her hair in a knot. She wears glasses when she reads. She is punctual to class. She often looks into our problems. Mrs. Ekanayake teaches us English. She is an innovative teacher. She is sometimes strict with the children. I like her because she is a lady in the true sense of the word.

Activity: A pie chart for Grade 10
The pie chart given above represents the different foods the grade 10 students of Vidyaloka M.V. eat for breakfast. The pie chart represents 5 food items. They are noodles, rice , bread , lentils and string hoppers.
According to the details given in the pie chart the highest percentage of the students eat rice for breakfast. It is as high as 40%. The least percentage of the students eat lentils for breakfast. An equal percentage of the students eat string hoppers and bread. It is 20% each. More students eat noodles than lentils.
In conclusion, I can find that rice is the most favourite food for breakfast. Most students do not like to eat lentils.
