Read how the articles have been used in the following sentences.

1. I saw a  parrot. The parrot was eating a mango. The mango fell off the tree. 

* When you speak of something for the first time use the indefinite articles "a" / "an" and when you speak of the same person or thing for the second time use the definite article "the". 'an' is used before words starting with a vowel sound. 

2. Where is mother? 

     She is in the garden. 

(This means she is in your garden)

3. I met a boy. The boy was eating an ice cream. 

4. Ravi wrote a poem. The poem was beautiful. 

5. I watched a cartoon. The cartoon was about a small girl.

👉Note: The activity given here is on relative pronouns. The relative pronouns are 'who, whose, whom and which'. Among them who / whose and whom are used to describe a person, which is used to describe a thing or an animal
