👉 The intention of the blogger here is not to elaborate on these different groups, but to provide you with some activities. Repeated activities will help you form an idea of the function of some prepositions. Most of the students do not perform well in prepositions. Most of the mistakes in writings are related to problems with prepositions. Therefore, usually, examiners do not forget to leave a question on prepositions. Hence, the activities I am going to include on this page will help you immensely to improve your knowledge of prepositions and their correct use in sentences.

The Blogger's Note: 

Dear friends, students and teachers,

 The activities I am going to publish here are based on the Competency based English new syllabus for Grade 6 Sri Lanka. However, the activities will be created in order that any language learner or teacher can use them for English language development. 

  I also need to mention here in short about the essays that I will publish below from time to time. The essays have been written by my youngest son Kulith Tharuna under my supervision to suit the age group. He is a grade 11 (2020) student of Negombo South International School, Nittambuwa, Sri Lanka. 

  I will take every precaution to make the activities appealing to the young learner in Grade 6. 

  My objective here is not explain any lessons, but to help you with activities needed to establish what you have explained or learnt in the classroom.
